Digital Order Card
Digital Order Card (DOC) is back! Girls will be able to have their friends and family from near and far order online
and have them shipped directly to them. New this year, friends and family can now get their cookies delivered
locally by clicking “Girl Delivery” during the initial order period.
Parents will receive an email—starting early January—welcoming them to the DOC site. Parents will follow the
guidelines and set up their girl’s account. From there, girls (with their parent’s help!) will be able to create a
custom website featuring their goals, updates on their achievements, and even a picture or video of themselves.
Girls earn the DOC Cookie Techie patch for selling 12 boxes online and a cookie noteset for selling 36 boxes
online!
• Customers can donate cookies to Operation Jersey Cares!
• All Cookie varieties are on the site.
D I G I TA L O R D E R C A R D U P D AT E S
• Minimum order: There is a new minimum purchase of 4 boxes. If customers are looking to donate cookies
they can order as little as one box.
• Shipping: Customers pay for shipping. Shipping starts at $12. This cost is comparable when shipping from
NJ to another state, however for your friends next door or in the town over, it may be best to choose girl delivery.
• NEW girl delivery: Girls can now send emails locally and have customers opt for girl delivery during the initial
order period—avoiding shipping charges!
Gluten-free Toffee-tastic
The gluten-free Toffee-tastic cookie is BACK, and is now on the order card!
• Customers can now order their gluten-free cookies on the initial sale order card! All initial sale orders are
guaranteed. You may also order them from cupboards, however quantity is not guaranteed.
• Toffee-tastic cookies are sold for $5 per box, as the cost of production of these specialty cookies is slightly
higher than the other cookie varieties; much like similar products on the market today.
• Toffee-tastic cookies are available on the DOC.

In honor of 100 years of Girl Scouts selling cookies, Girl Scouts of the USA’s Cookie Troop 100
challenge is an opportunity to get girls excited and allow them to join a nationwide celebration while
earning a chance to win cool prizes to help with their cookie Take Action or service projects. One
lucky troop from EVERY council across the country will win $100 each and one VERY lucky
troop will win $3,000 to support their cookie project! How can girls participate? Great question—
just follow these four easy steps:
1. Set a troop goal and share the plan for their cookie money
2. Earn a Cookie Business badge
3. As a troop, ask 100 NEW customers to buy cookies
4. Bling Your Booth (Take pictures—you’ll need to submit one with your entry form!)
Once all 4 steps are completed, girls should ask their troop leader to help them submit their entry at
www.girlscouts.org/cookietroop100 to unlock their patch, and enter for a chance to win cash to invest in their
cookie Take Action or service project. This challenge is limited to one (1) submission per troop.
COOKIE ROOKIE
NEW S’mores Cookie
Girl Scout S’moresTM are here! These crunchy graham sandwich cookies with a layering of creamy chocolate
and marshmallowy filling are sure to please. Each cookie features a beautifully embossed image of one of
the five Girls’ Choice Outdoor Badges, custom-designed, exclusively for Girl Scouts!
This specialty-ingredient, s’mores-inspired cookie was created with emerging consumer preferences in mind:
• No artificial colors
• No high-fructose corn syrup
• No preservatives
• No partially hydrogenated oils
Like the gluten-free cookies, the s’mores cookies are also sold for $5 per box, as the cost of production of
these specialty cookies is slightly higher than the other cookie varieties; much like similar products on the
market today.

Are you a Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador troop that wants to help a Daisy or Brownie
troop learn about, and get the most out of their Girl Scout Cookie Program experience?
Know a Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador who would be a great Cookie Program mentor for
a young Girl Scout troop? They could become a Cookie Captain! This program pairs an older,
experienced Scout (the Cookie Captain) with a troop who is selling cookies for the first time.
The Cookie Captain helps their troop develop skills, build confidence, and leads activities! Plus,
the Cookie Captain can apply their service hours towards earning their Service to Girl Scouting bar
or Hearts of Service! Check out page 18 of the Fall ‘16–Winter ‘17 program guide for more info.

Cookie FAQ’s
Why are the cookie program dates different from last year?
Like last year, we heard that you wanted our Cookie Program to align with other New Jersey
councils—and we are doing it again this year! This year, the program is ending a week before many
of the sprintime holidays that can sometimes be a hassle to work around. This also means that
you’ll get your cookies earlier and have your recognitions in May!
When should girls register for the Cookie Program?
Girls should be registered before January 11th!
Council will upload girls into eBudde every Wednesday. Girls must be registered by 4 a.m.
Wednesday to be included in that week’s upload.
If a girl does not appear in eBudde, leaders should check they are on the roster in eBiz.
If they are not in eBiz, leaders should reach out to their SUM or SU Registrar with registration
confirmation. If the girl is in eBiz but not in eBudde, please notify their SUM.
Can I participate in the Cookie Program if I am a Juliette?
Absolutely! We encourage every girl to have her own girl-led journey and participate in whatever
activity she wants to be involved with. Like Troops, she can hold booth sales, do an initial order,
participate in goal getters, and achieve incentives! The girl will receive her proceeds in the form of
a Cookie Dough card that she can use in the Council retail shop or applied towards camp.
How do girls register for Digital Order Card?
Parents will be sent a welcome email in January to register their girls. If they do not
receive the emails or want to register by February, please have leaders contact [email protected].
What days can I pick up cookies from the cupboard?
Cupboard hours are Thursday 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00
a.m.-12:00 p.m. starting March 16th. If you come outside of those hours, a Product Team member
may not be there to distribute your cookies.
I accidentally submitted my cupboard order in cases, rather than packages. Is there any
way to fix this?
If you make a mistake on a cupboard order, please contact Council as soon as possible. This
needs to be fixed by Monday at 8 a.m. before your order is submitted for delivery. If it is done
after that time, you will be responsible for the cookies you requested. If you need more, we can
provide these based upon availability.
I submitted my order and want to pick up but it still says pending. Is my order ready?
Yes! Your order is “pending” pickup. You are welcome to come in to pick up your cookies during
normal cupboard hours.
How do I get a cookie costume and/or tablecloth?
In order to borrow a cookie costume and tablecloth from Council, please fill out the Wufoo form
on our website. We fulfill requests on a first-come, first-served basis and upon prior returns from
past requests. Additionally, there are costume ideas on Pinterest that are very eye catching, and
adorable! (www.pinterest.com/gsheartofnj)
Do I need to put my booth sale in eBudde?
YES! This is the only way for a booth sale to be approved.
Does the girl get credit for Digital Order Card cookies sold?
Yes! eBudde and Digital Order Card will communicate throughout the sale. Once a customer
places an order, it will show up in eBudde and the credit is automatically assigned to the girl.
Please note, there may be up to a 48 hour delay in the order showing up in eBudde.
What do I do with leftover booth sale cookies?
Why not maximize on your potential sales and hold another booth sale?! If you choose to not hold
an additional booth sale, you can contact your SUCM who can see if there are any Troops with a
need for cookies. You can then perform a troop-to-troop transfer.
Why are the S’mores and Toffee-tastic cookies more expensive?
Production costs are slightly higher for these specialty cookies, just as they are for similar
products in the market today. For example, it typically takes more natural flavor ingredients to
deliver the same flavor intensity consumers expect.
We will allow exchanges of cookies—ordered from the cupboard—that are in good condition
during the last week of cupboards, based on availability.
How do you earn a Cookie Techie patch & the cookie note set?
To earn the Cookie Techie patch, the girl must sell a minimum of 12 boxes of cookies through
Digital Order Card. To earn the cookie note set, the girls must sell a minimum of 36 boxes through
Digital Order Card.
How do I log onto eBudde?
Your username is your full email address with your password being Dosi@10835 (case sensitive!)
You will be asked to change your password once logged in.
If this does not work, your email may be incorrect in the system. Please verify with your SUCM
that it is correct. SUCMs will be able to verify this through the ‘settings’ tab.
I forgot my password…now what?
If you have forgotten your password, please click ‘Forgot Password’. Contact your SUCM if you are
still unable to get in.
What is ACH?
ACH stands for Automated Clearing House. On noted dates, Council will pull the owed money
from your troop bank account. The remaining balance is your troop proceeds.
When are ACH pulls?
The first pull for 50% of the total balance due is March 28th. The remaining balance will be pulled
on April 21st. If there are not enough funds in the account, you risk going into collections as
outlined in our debt collection policy.
I’m trying to plan my end of year meeting. When do incentives arrive?
You will receive any initial order incentives with your initial order. All final incentives will arrive by
the end of May.
Any higher level incentives will be available to be picked up at Council when other incentives arrive
at the Service Unit.
SUCMs: to reset a password, go to the troop’s page, select the ‘Contacts’ tab > ‘Edit’> Edit
under person’s contact and then enter a new password under ‘Change Password’ for a 24 hour
temporary password.
How far in advance should I place my cupboard order?
Cupboard orders must be placed at least a week in advance to guarantee availability. Final orders
should be placed by Monday at 8:00 a.m. before the desired pickup date.
