Inside Passage and Alaska, last of the great American frontiers, aboard the
six-star Silversea, 100% ocean-view, all-suite M.V. SILVER SHADOW.
This comprehensive and exceptional luxury small ship carries only
382 guests, and features an impressive list of deluxe inclusives – six-star
accommodations are all-suite configurations; there is free air✤ from 43

Cruise from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Seward, Alaska, and call

whales, harbour seals, porpoises, sea lions, sea otters and eagles in their
natural habitat. Cruise up-close to the Sawyer and Hubbard glaciers, and
listen for the sound of cracking ice, then watch as glaciers calve into the sea.
The Pre-Cruise Option to cosmopolitan Vancouver, tucked between the
ocean and mountains, one of Canada’s most vibrant and beautiful cities, offers
a perfect prelude to your cruise with the city’s rich cultural history culled from
the native people of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Conclude your cruise
with a visit to the heartland wilderness of Alaska on the Post-Cruise Option to
the home of grizzly bears, wolves and moose in Denali National Park before
visiting the former frontier trading post city, Fairbanks.
In keeping with the countless superlatives Alaska has to offer, this program
provides the best value, the finest accommodations and the optimal cruising

TH E
I NSI DE PASSAG E
Shaped by the staggering force of massive glaciers millions
of years ago, the Inside Passage embodies snow-capped
mountains, diamond-blue glaciers and an ice-age wilderness,
bigger, bolder and more beautiful than you can imagine. Watch for
bald eagles, humpback whales, harbour seals and sea otters as you cruise
these protected waters, one of the few pristine marine wilderness areas in the
Western Hemisphere. Following in the footsteps of early explorers seeking the
fabled northwest passage, cruise past countless islands and evergreen forests;
the intricate totem poles of the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian Indians;
the onion-domed churches gleaming with icons built by early Russian
settlers; and the former gold rush settlements built by stampeders en route
to the immense wilds of the North.

In the colourful fishing village of
Ketchikan—“salmon capital of the
world”—stroll the boardwalks of
Creek Street and watch salmon
swimming upstream in the middle
of the village. Optional excursions✶
feature a cruise through the glaciersculpted inlets of Misty Fjords National
Monument, where wildlife is abundant
and spectacular near-vertical cliffs
rise from the water; alternatively, visit
Totem Bight State Historical Park,
listed on the National Register of
Historic Places, or the Deer Mountain
Tribal Hatchery, where king and coho
salmon and steelhead trout are raised.
Tracy Arm/
Sawyer Glacier
Cruise into the deep fjord of Tracy Arm,
where waterfalls spill from dramatic
cliffs, lush forest fades to spectacular
sheer rock and icebergs glint in the
sunlight. Approach the twin North and
South Sawyer Glaciers, actively calving
chunks of ice that become floating
platforms for hundreds of harbour seals.
Watch for Arctic terns, pigeon guillemots

reservation must be cancelled, no “replacement” reservation can be
substituted at the discounted rate. A “replacement” reservation is a new
reservation and can be substituted only at the full-fare tariff. Cancellation
penalties may apply.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations for all or any part of the trip including
Pre/Post Program(s) reservation(s) will not be effective until received in writing
in the offices of Gohagan. Should you have to cancel, the following terms
will apply: reservation cancellation(s) are subject to a $200 USD ($50 USD
Pre/Post Program(s)) per person administrative fee from the time of booking
through 180 days prior to departure; from 120 through 179 days prior to
departure, $600 USD ($200 USD Pre/Post Program(s)) per person; from 119
through 95 days prior to departure, 60% of the published full regular tariffs;
from 94 through 45 days prior to departure, 80% of the published full regular
tariffs; cancellations 44 days or less prior to departure, a no-show, or early
return from the trip will result in forfeiture of 100% of the published full
regular tariffs. In addition, any applicable airline cancellation fees, optional
excursion cancellation fees and administrative fees may apply.
TRIP INSURANCE: Because our cancellation policies are strictly enforced,
we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.
In the event that you must cancel your participation in a travel program,
trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement. Trip
cancellation insurance is available through Thomas P. Gohagan & Company
and others for comprehensive coverage of such expenses in conjunction with
cancellation due to illness or accident, and damaged or lost luggage. We will
send you an application upon receipt of your reservation.
RATES: Prices quoted are based on fares in effect at the time of printing and are
subject to change at any time. Gohagan reserves the right to increase the tour price
in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, currency fluctuations or
fuel or energy surcharges and all such increases are to be paid to Gohagan upon
notice to the tour participant of such increases.
