Essay Writing Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is being organized by the following promoter:
• More Than English, whose registered office is at '1 Canal Cottage, Tenbury Wells, Shropshire,
WR15 8HS, England.
2. Employees of More Than English or any other person connected directly or indirectly in the event are not allowed to
take part.
3. This competition is only for students who will be aged 12 to 16 years of age in July 2016.
4. There will be no registration fee or purchase required for participation.
5. The instructions for registration will be available from teachers at selected schools; the entry form will be available at
http://www.morethanenglish.co.uk/en/competition/
6. Entries must be submitted by 2359 on Sunday 18th October 2015. Entries submitted after that date, will not be
considered.
7. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received for any reason.
8. Only one entry is allowed per person. Multiple individual entries will be disqualified.
9. More Than English is not responsible for inaccurate information about prizes provided by any participant or by any
third party involved with the competition.
10. No cash or credit alternatives will be offered. The Prizes are not transferable.
11. Winners must purchase the round-trip air travel costs to and from the United Kingdom.
12. To receive the free week, the winners must purchase an additional week.
13. The winners must take up the prize (two weeks for the price of one) in July 2016 during weeks specified by More
Than English.

14. Competition entries will be judged on the qualities of engagement, persuasion and creativity
15. The decision of More Than English regarding the winners of the competition is final.
16. Winners agree to the use of their names and images on any advertising materials produced by More Than English.
17. Any personal data relating to the winners or other participants will be used solely in accordance with current data
protection legislation of England and will not be disclosed to third parties without the prior consent of the participant.
18. More Than English reserves the following rights:
a) to cancel or amend the competition or these terms and conditions without notice, in the case of: disasters, war, civil
disturbance and / or military, other phenomenon of nature, or unpredictable events;
b) to cancel the competition in case of any actual or anticipated breach of any law or applicable regulation or any other
event beyond the control of More Than English;
c) substitute any prize for another of equal value without notice, depending on availability.
19. More Than English will notify participants of any changes to the terms and conditions as soon as possible.
20.The names of the winners will be available for 28 days after the closing date of the competition. Send an email to:

21. The result of the competition will be announced on Sunday 25th October 2015 and will be released

22.Winners must claim the prize within a maximum of seven (07) days or forfeit their prize by emailing

24. Failure to claim the prize within the time limits will allow More Than English to award the prize to a new winner
25. In no way is this promotion endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other social
network.
26. The competition and these terms and conditions are subject to and governed by English law.
27. Participation in this competition implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Please print a copy and save for
your records
28. The terms and conditions of the competition are in addition to the standard course booking terms and conditions
published at http://www.morethanenglish.co.uk/en/terms-and-conditions/. Winners who confirm and take up their
prize agree to both sets of terms and conditions.
