Mission Statement: To provide training, jobs, and employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities and cognitive impairment in Wexford, Missaukee, and Osceola Counties. The After 26 Project is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation that was first organized in 2007. The name After 26 was selected because in the state of Michigan when an adult with disabilities reaches the age of 26, they age-out of the public school system. The ‘Project Workers’ at the Depot handle a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to: greeting; assist hosting; assist waitress; busing; dish washer; clean-up; janitorial; scrub cleaning; outside maintenance; and landscaping Hours: Monday through Friday 7am until 2pm Saturday & Sunday 8am until 2pm Serving dinner Friday 5pm-8pm Saturday evening available for private parties & banquets Local Producer Partnerships: After 26 is proud to work with local producer partnerships and post secondary partnerships, many of whom supply us with the food or ingredients on our menu.
