"Interesting Solutions to Compound Inequalities"
Understand that "and" compound inequalities are asking for what numbers are in both sets of inequalities and "or" compound inequalities are asking for what numbers are in either set of inequalities.
1) x < ­4 and x > 6
2) x > ­2 or x < 5
3) x > 3 or x > 7
4) x < 4 and x < ­3
