Character Archetype Flipbook (75 points)
As we read the The Hobbit, follow the instructions to fill out the flipbook. This will help
you determine what characters in the novel fit into the character archetypes and why.
ALWAYS USE COMPLETE SENTENCES!
Cover Page (5 points):
Include your name and period (1 point), the title of the novel and author’s name (2
points) and a colorful illustration (2 points).
Character page (10 points) x 7 pages:
For each character:
1) Write the definition of the character archetype (2 points)
(look in your notes on p. 41)
2) Write the name of the character that fits this archetype (1 point)
3) Write two or three examples with page numbers that show why the character fits
the archetype role (4 points)
For the picture page for each character, draw a COLORFUL picture of them doing one
of the examples you listed (3 points)
