DESIGN GUIDELINES SUMMARY
TRUMPETER
@
Big Lake
Objective
To create Guidelines that represent an Architectural style direction and provide
a theme to the proposed community. The proposed styles are
Arts and Crafts and Prairie Styles.
The following is a summary of the design guidelines and samples of landscaping
elements to guide your homeowners and designers for the final product types of
Trumpeter.
In addition, attached are a set of style based elements to assist builders and
homeowners in decisions regarding the building form, details, materials and
colours to achieve the proposed theme.
The Developer and Windward Landtec shall use these guidelines as base
reference standards only and reserves the right to deviate from these guidelines
as they may determine necessary.

pocket with the exception of pie shaped lots where discretion may be used for the massing
requirements.
All housing units to be completed with a double garage and the area thereof shall not be
included in the dwelling unit sizes. Garage locations are as shown on the subdivision plan.
The maximum garage offset is 2 feet. On pockets less than 32’
The maximum garage offset will be 4’ on pockets greater than 32’

Special exterior design must be given to the flankage side of all homes on corner lots.
•
Low profile houses are preferred on corner lots. Other model types will be considered.
