All fees are based on a 5 month period for a fall or spring semester.
Figures are estimates given by Host University. Figures were given in host currency and converted to
United States Dollars using a floating exchange rate.
As of 8/5/16, 1 Euro (EUR) =1.10808(USD)
Berlin School of Economics and Law charges a Student Services Organization fee of 230 Euros, which
includes a local public transport pass for unlimited use in Berlin of bus and metro.
Accommodations given by the university range from 180-260 Euros per month.
Please budget for university books for around 100 Euros a semester.
International Health Insurance is required. It is required to get German Health Insurance for
students while in Germany. This cost is approximately 78 Euros per month.
Residence permit (visa) is required for all non EU nationals. Visa is obtained while in Germany at 110
Euros.
Airfare is an estimated average price from 5 different airlines. Dates ranged for five months for the
duration of the semester.
Please note extra travel expenses, cell phone, internet, etc. are not included. Budget accordingly.
* Tuition and Fees are based on the Resident rate for 12 undergraduate credit hours at Wichita State
University. Students will pay their current tuition rate during the study abroad program based on their
residency and any specific college/department requirements such as the business & engineering fees.
