Combination Rotor/Drum Digital Gage

Operating Instructions:
Start Up
Press the "ON/OFF" button (Display will come on).
Set Inch/Metric Mode
Press the "IN/MM button briefly to switch the readout from inch
to metric measurement mode.
Measure Rotor Thickness
1. Slide the Micrometer closed until the pointed and flat tips
touch.
2. Press R (rotor) (”ABS” will appear in the display) Press “D”
button to zero the Micrometer.
3. Slide the Micrometer open and take the thickness
measurement.
4. Press R button a second time to exit rotor measurement
mode.
Measure Drum Diameter
1. Set display to inch mode.
2. Slide micrometer closed.
3. Insert fixed pins into the slots of the drum setting gage.
4. Open Micrometer until the pointed tips touch the flats on the
setting gage.
5. Press “D” button and 2.000 will show on display. Remove
setting gage.
6. Extend arms, rest them on edge of drum and take the inner
diameter reading.
7. To see if the drum is bell-mouth shaped, take a second
reading.
When Display is Flashing, This Indicates Low Battery
Battery Replacement
NOTE: When changing the battery, you reset the 2.000”
preset.
1.
Press the "ON/OFF" button to shut display off.
2.
Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding to the
right.
3.
Remove the battery.
4.
Install a new battery, positive (+) pole up.
5.
Reinstall the battery compartment cover.
6.
Press the "ON/OFF" button to check operation.
7.
Make sure the micrometer is reading IN. If not, press the
IN/MM button to get it into the INCH mode.
8.
Slide micrometer closed.
9.
Insert fixed pins into the slots of the drum setting gage.
10. Open Micrometer until the pointed tips touch the flats on
the setting gage.
11. Press the “D” button. Press the “Set” button until 2.0000”
appears in the display.
12. The gage is now ready to measure.

Display Reset
If the display becomes non-responsive at any time, remove the
battery for 2 minutes and follow the directions 5 through 8
shown above. This will reset the 2.000” preset.
