My name is Super Sud, and it is my job to protect boys and girls from the evil Ugh Lee Germ. Ugh Lee Germ likes to make boys and girls sick so they cannot play with their friends. He likes to hide in a lot of different places, and he can be so small that you cannot even see him. Some of his favorite hiding places are in the bathroom, outside, on pets or even when you sneeze or cough. Have no fear, Super Sud is here! You can protect yourself from the evil Ugh Lee Germ by washing your hands, so let me show you how it’s done! Just use warm water and soap! Rub your hands together until super suds, like me, appear. Keep rubbing your hands together for about 20 seconds until you have tons and tons of super suds! Be sure to scrub between your fingers and under your fingernails too. Ugh Lee Germ likes to hide wherever he can! I like to sing the Alphabet song while I scrub. After you have sung the entire song, rinse and dry your hands with a clean towel. Take a peak down the sink, the evil Ugh Lee Germ has been washed away! Hooray! You can also use a special magic potion called hand sanitizer to protect yourself from the evil Ugh Lee Germ if you are playing outside or somewhere that you cannot use soap and water! Be sure to ask a grown-up to help you, but it’s easy to use! Just place a small amount in the center of your hand and rub it all over your hands until it dries. The evil Ugh Lee Germ has disappeared once again, yay! To stay safe from the evil Ugh Lee Germ be sure to remember to wash your hands before you eat, after you play or if you sneeze or cough. This will keep you healthy and able to play all day! 2 3 We wash our hands to get rid of germs. 4 If we don’t wash our hands we might get sick. 5 How do we wash our hands? 1. Wet Hands.
