STUDENT DRESS CODE 2016-2017 Students in kindergarten through eighth grades are required to wear school uniforms daily. Please read carefully as there have been minor changes since last school year and some uniform pieces have been transitioned out. WHY WEAR A UNIFORM? Simply put, the Northern Light School is designed to eliminate distractions and create community amongst students. The uniform is the NLS way of saying that we believe all people are created equal regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic status.
