“ONE HEART FULL OF LOVE” MOTHER TERESA
MONDAY-“Celebrating our Community”
“God never sends you into a situation alone. God goes before you.” Mother Teresa
We, as a school, are continuously learning the importance of service to others. We must work as a team
to demonstrate the values and faith that are gained through a Catholic education. We must work
together to combat the forces of evil and help each other on a daily basis.
Students may wear camouflage clothes to school.
TUESDAY-“Celebrating our Students”
“Peace begins with a smile.” Mother Teresa
Schools celebrate students during National Catholic Schools Week by recognizing their
accomplishments. They help students recognize the benefits of a Catholic education and how the faith,
knowledge, and service it provides will help them throughout their lives. Our smiles are so bright
because we are part of a Catholic School family and are full of God’s peace.
Students may wear sunglasses (Our smiles are blinding.)
WEDNESDAY-“Celebrating the Faculty, Staff and Volunteers
“The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.” Mother Teresa
Teachers are the backbone of Catholic Schools. On this day, schools honor teachers, as well as,
administrators and staff who support teachers in their important work. We also thank the countless
volunteers who provide a service to our school. We should all strive to want to constantly learn from
others and be a little “nerdy”.
Students may dress up like a nerd.
THURSDAY-“Celebrating Vocations”
“I want you to be concerned about your next door neighbor. Do you know your next door neighbor?”
Mother Teresa
By focusing on faith, knowledge, and service, Catholic Schools prepare children to use their God-given
talents to the fullest, later in life. Students need opportunities to explore the many life paths that will
enable to use their talents to help their neighbors, as well as, pursue unknown challenges.
Students may wear western wear to represent new frontiers to conquer.
FRIDAY-“Celebrating families”
“Never be so busy as not to think of others.” Mother Teresa
Parents, guardians and other family members play a vital role in Catholic education. Not only do they
volunteer at the school, they instill values and expectations for academic excellence in their children at
home. Let us honor/remember our family members/friends who have been wonderful examples to us.
Students may wear shirts in honor/memory of a family member/friend or a cause (breast cancer,
military, etc. ) You may also bring a picture of the person whom you want to remember.
