B4WV Annual Report Lookup PIN
When filing your annual report online you must enter the personal identification number (PIN) for your
business which is provided in the annual report notification letter, postcard or email from the Secretary
of State’s Office each January. If you do not have your PIN, the Lookup PIN feature will enable you to
retrieve your PIN.
Please note the annual report PIN changes each year. Additionally, the PIN number is not the system
password.
If you are already a registered user, enter your User ID and password to log in. If you are not registered,
click the Register Now link to setup an account and create a User ID and password.
After you login, click the “Lookup PIN” link in the left navigation:

Next enter your business name exactly as it is recorded with the Secretary of State’s Office and the
organization number assigned to your business and click the “Lookup PIN” button:
If you do not know your organization number, click the “Click here to lookup the organization number”
link which will open the business entity search system in a new browser window. Enter your business
name and click the Search button:
Click the “Details” link in the search result grid next to your business name:

The organization number will be displayed at the top of the details page to the right of the business
name. Return to the Business4WV.com browser window and enter the organization number and click
“Lookup PIN” button to retrieve your PIN.
