Treasurer’s Report: The checkbook currently holds a balance of $29,305.29 – just stocked up on Scrip
Old Business







Stage Curtains & Lights – installed over Christmas break – still looking for help on Dec 20 in the
afternoon to take down curtains. Tonya will put in newsletter again this week
Playground – Avah’s memorial – Heather and Michelle are looking at options to replace the slide
Christmas Store will be December 10th in the Music room – we have enough workers. Still in
need of gifts, gift bags and tissue paper. Tonya will send out reminder text.
Christmas Program Reception
o Every family is asked to bring 1 dozen cookies. Tonya will put in the newsletter, as well
as send a reminder text on Tuesday of next week.
o Set-up (Heather Lee & Jess Price) and Clean-up (Cyndi Moen, Jennifer Frank, Christine
Markovetz) families have been notified
o Mr. & Mrs. Claus are ready to good – will be handing out treat bags from KofC – there
will be 5 bags that have no peanuts in them for those with allergies
o Christmas program attire – will send information out in newsletter
Christmas Potluck for staff – Date is Wed Dec. 16
o Heather will send out list of items needed and families can respond as to what they are
bringing.
 In the future – look at this being something the room parents do. We assign a
certain type of dish (ie. Salad, dessert) to each class and the room parent finds
parents to bring in.
Mardi Gras –
o Date Feb 2
o Michelle Ehlert is Chair – she suggested changing to more of a carnival feel and making
more of a community even than just OLV.
 Look at doing photo booth, sno-cones, cotton candy, popcorn, etc.
o Food – Lori Bredenberg
 We will be doing a hot dog & chips meal as well as a pizza meal. Will also be
selling items ala carte for tickets.
o Games – Michelle Klinnert – Michelle E will talk to her about vamping them up even
more again this year.
o Kids Raffle – still need someone to head this up
Spring Gala – April 2nd
o Planning is process – raffle tickets will be available in early January, as will dinner tickets
New Business

School Pictures – it was brought up about continued use of Janssen – were people happy with
pictures, etc.
Next meeting will be on January 12, 2016 @ 3:30pm
