bandana, stickers,candy, markers, puppets or
other items that align with the party theme. )
To Book Your Party:
Confirm your date, time, location and expected number of guests by returning the attached
form as indicated. Parties cannot be booked over the phone. Parties must be booked in
writing. We do not accept or hold party reservations without a $50 non-refundable deposit.
Extra party items must be selected at the time of booking the party.
3 days before the party:
Confirm your expected guest count. This will be reflected in your final bill. Materials for 3 extra
children will be brought to the party in case additional children RSVP late or simply show up. If
more than 3 extra children attend the party, we may not have all materials. You will be charged
for the number of children at the party or your final confirmed count, whichever is higher. If you
do not provide a final confirmed count, we will plan for the number of children on the party
reservation form.
The day of the party:
We will arrive 5-10 minutes early to “set up.” We’ll need open floor space for our games and
scenes and our party leaders will come prepared to cover any tables we will use for crafts. We
will need an electrical outlet for music. Payment in full is expected the day of the party.
Relax and have fun! Take pictures! And don’t worry - we know how to connect with kids!!
Q: Should kids come in costume?
Why not? It’s not required, but what a great way to set the tone and get extra use out of those
costume pieces!
Q: Should I invite boys to a “girl” party and vice versa?
Absolutely! Let us know - we always have gender-appropriate alternatives in our costumes and
scenes. Everyone will feel included in a Drama Kids birthday party.
Q: What do you bring?
Two of our party leaders arrive with costume accessories, a craft, face paint (if requested) music
and props for our party scenes. We will bring a table cover for craft making. We will need open
floor space - we are VERY ADAPTABLE. We can make a party happen ANYWHERE!
Q: Do you supply anything else?
We can help you pull together everything you need for your party - from invitations to paper
goods to cupcakes, candles and more. Talk to our office party coordinator if you would like
more assistance with any party. (extra charges apply.)
Q: How far will you travel for a party?
We will travel up to 20 miles from downtown Minneapolis. Parties outside the 20 mile radius are
subject to a gas stipend.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your reservation. We accept
personal check, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Should you decide to
reschedule or cancel your party with more than 24 hours notice, you can apply
the $50 deposit towards a new party. If you cancel or reschedule with less than
24 hours notice, you will forfeit your $50 deposit. Your final party theme must be
selected two weeks prior to your party. You may not change your party theme or
add additional items to your party (extras) within 10 days of the party. The final
guest count, which is used to determine your final bill, is due three business
days prior to your party. After you have submitted your final guest count, no
changes to the guest count can be made. If less children attend your party, you
will not receive a refund for those children. We will bring extra materials for 3
extra children in case children RSVP late, however, we cannot guarantee
accommodating more than three children above your final guest count. If there
are more children at the party than the final guest count, $15 per extra child will
be added to your bill. Final payment is due at the party via personal check,
unless a credit card is already on file at our home office.
Host parents are expected to assist with unruly behavior at the party. We will
perform reasonable prevention and clean up at each party. However, we cannot
be held responsible for any damage done to clothing, furniture, carpeting,
drapes, or other household items if the party is held in a private residence.
As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless DKI of Hennepin
County, Inc, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands
and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage,
injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the
undersigned, while in or upon any premises under the control and supervision of
DKI of Hennepin County Inc (Drama Kids), its owners and operators or in route
to or from any said premises.
