Ricoh Healthcare provided a solution to one of India’s largest and highly regarded Diagnostic Service
Provider. The customer runs a pan-India network of over 125 laboratories and more than 2,000 specimen
collection centres.
Challenge: The Diagnostic Service Provider has presence all across India, in the form of state-of-the-art
laboratories and patient service centres. Our challenge was to address their need for timely updation of
collection status, and to monitor more effectively the service delivered to their customers.
Solution: Ricoh IT Services team undertook a detailed study and mapped the organisation’s processes to
deliver a mobility solution for collection of samples from customer locations. This is a cloud-based
application with accessibility over tablets, along with mobile printing capability.
Results: Real-time monitoring by call centre and timely updation of collection status.
