The Black Stone has many stories. It is widely believed that it takes the sin of people. But no official
version approving from Prophet Mohammed. The accepted version is that this is the original piece of
Stone that formed the part of Kaba in ints initial days. This is the only piece left out today.

Perfumes play an important role in Islamic culture. One should be in the best of his dresses and should
wear perfumes while praying. Ablution is compulsory before prayers even if one has taken complete
bath. In places where one doesn't get water some rituals are there equivalent to this.

religions. Prophet Ismail is his son. He is one of the most important prothets of the semetic lineage of
prophets (others are Sulaiman - Solomon, Musa - Moses, Eissa - Jesus, Yakob - Jacob etc...)

Kiswa - the cloth that covers the Kaba with Millions worth Silk and Gold. This is changed every year. Old
cover is cut into pieces and given to VIP Haj Pilgrims (mostly diplomatic pilgrims) and local VIPs. Once
Vajpayee's personal barber who came as part of India's officially sent team of Muslim pilgrims got this
piece.
