This song describes Macbeth's desire to be the king and he doesn't care who gets in his way. He
decides to kill Duncan and then he said he would have to find a way to overleap Malcolm to be king.
At present he is a great leader but not as great as he sees himself if he had all the power. He doesn't
want people asking him why he did things but wants everything done his way rather than wait for fate
to make him king. He doesn't even ask his best friend Banquo to help him but relies only on his wife.
