Youth
Young players (children or teenagers in general), on average, grow at about 2.5 inches
(6 to 7 centimetres) each year.

CRICKET BAT SIZE GUIDE
We would recommend that at the start of each season they check that their existing
bat is the right size for them and/or they secure a new bat for the upcoming season
to ensure they play to their optimum potential (refer to chart below).
Senior or Adults
We offer a selection of bat heights for senior players who range in height 5’7” upwards
and we would recommend securing the right size bat with the correct weight.
Youth Range
Note: H = Harrow (Youth), SM = Small Mens, SH = Short Handle, LH = Long Handle (normal blade size + long handle),

Youth bats also differ from senior or adult bats. Youth bats use a different range of
English Willow and Kashmir Willow, aimed to hit competitive prices in the market
while they grow into the game.
CRICKET BAT SIZE GUIDE
We would also highly recommend that the bat selected is also of the correct weight,
not too heavy and not too light. Put simply a bat that is too heavy means they will be
late onto the ball, whereas too light and they will be too early.

picking up a quick single and being run out.
