we choose.

the time of
origin,

learning to this day.
Please

to hear God's
teaching, so
be a little

I will now talk
about the story
of the origin,
which Oyasama
teaches.
The
story
of
origin?
In the beginning, the world was a muddy ocean. Tsukihi,
God the Parent, finding this chaos unbearably tasteless,
thought of creating human beings in order to see the
Joyous Life and thus share in that joy.
God brought together various instruments, and the first
children thus born were all half an inch (5 bu) tall. After
repeating three times the process of birth and passing
away, they gradually grew taller. Further, under God the
Parent's providence, they were reborn as reborn eight
thousand and eight times as worms, birds, beasts, and the
like. Eventually, when they reached five feet, land and sea,
heaven and earth, the whole universe, was completed, and
human beings began to dwell on land.
This took nine hundred million
and ninety thousand years,
and they were trained in
wisdom for six thousand
years, and instructed in
letters for three thousand
nine hundred and ninety-nine
years.
God the Parent spent many, many years
and considerable thought to create human
beings, and prepared a condition in which
they could live a Joyous Life if only they
would help and save one another. And it
was on October 26, 1838, when the years
equal to the number of their first-born-nine hundred million, ninety-nine thousand, and nine hundred ninety-nine--had
elapsed; and this Residence was the place
of the original conception of human beings

teaches?
We don't
need to listen
to this
anymore.
