KeyPositionPrioritiesandDuties: • Managediaries,travelschedules,conferenceattendanceandothermattersfor storyteller-in-chief,RichardShort,andexecutivedirectorCatherineKeenan. • Provideadministrativesupporttothestoryteller-in-chiefandexecutivedirectorand assistintheorganizationoftheirduties,forexamplecreditcardreconciliations, expenseclaimforms,etc. • Takeandmanagebookingsfromteachersandothercommunitymembersforour TeacherProfessionalDevelopmentProgram. • IssueinvoicesandreceiptsforTeacherProfessionalDevelopmentProgramusing Xeroaccountingsoftware. • RelayattendanceinformationaboutourTeacherProfessionalDevelopment ProgramtotheBoardofStudies(BOSTES)asrequired. • Completefortnightlytimesheetsforstaffandsendthesetoourbook-keeper. • Managecommunicationswithboardmembers,includingthebookingofvenuesfor meetings,circulationofboardpapers,andmanagingqueriesfromboardmembers. • PreparepaperworkfornewstaffjoiningtheSydneyStoryFactory,including contracts,superannuationforms,TFNforms,collectionofnewstaffdetailsetc. • Assistwiththeupdatingofourwebsite(Squarespace). • WorkingwithVolunteerManagertoassistwiththetyping,proof-reading,printing andbindingofstudentwork,andtheoverseeingofvolunteertypists. • Managepettycashandreconciliationatendofmonth. • OccasionallyprocesssalesattheMartianEmbassyandGiftShop • Ensurecompliancewithorganisationalpolicesandpractices • Participateinandattendrelevantmeetingsasrequired • Participateinstaffdevelopmentandtrainingactivitiesasrequired • Superviseandmanageinternsandadministrativevolunteers • LikeallstaffattheSSF,welcomethepublicandthelocalcommunityintoourcentre, explainwhatwedo,andforgelinksintothecommunity • Othergeneraladministrativeandorganisationaltasksastheyarise.
