From the castle you go down the hill "Schlossstraße" (1.8 km)
From below cross "Tegernseer Straße" and the main road "A307" to get to Bräunbichlweg (150m)
Follow Bräunbichlweg until you reach a stream "Weißach" (600m)
Cross the stream at the wodden bridge
Trun right into "Weißachaustraße"
After 100m turn left into "Kappenstraße" and follow to the end
Turn right into "Tritinistraße" until corner Haindlstraße, there you follow a path up the hill until you reach the street
Follow the "Wallbergstraße" up the hill until you reach the cable car-station
You eighter walk up the mountain or you take the cable car to get up to the highest mountain at the lake.

To return to the castle you either walk or take a taxi (e.g. Taxi Kaufmann: 08022/5555)
