As the 2013/14 school year comes to an end we would like to take this opportunity to say
goodbye to a few great teachers and welcome some new ones for our 2014/15 school
year.
It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Abbe Barton, Krysta Denboer, Amy Osmond and
Sara Peacock. Thank you for all you have contributed to the Herald School community, we
wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Herald School would like to welcome the following teacher’s for our 2014/15 school year.
Jennifer Deruyter, Ashton Weisgerber, and Cassandra Westerman, we look forward to
having you a part of the Herald School community.
Please note class
lists for the
2014/15 school
year will be posted
near the front office
on the first day of
school.
Administration and Teachers
have to consider many factors
when placing students in
classrooms. This process is a
complex one, but we do our
best to accommodate both
student and classroom needs.
Herald parent/school council is looking
for volunteers for the 2014/15 school
year. Any degree of involvement is
important and appreciated. An active
parent council helps to strengthen
programming and opportunities for
students in our school community.
Please contact Mr. McFetridge at
403-526-4477 if you have any
questions or are able to become
involved.
As you may be aware, MHSD will be changing school bus providers for the 2014/15 school year.
We do not anticipate any changes to the bus routes, however, please check
the school district website in August to review your child(ren)’s route for pick
up/drop off times.
If you have any questions about bussing for the 2014/15 school year ,
please direct your inquiries to Southland Transporation at 403-526-4655.
You can also contact the district’s Transportation coordinator, Robert Olson,
at 403-528-6572.
