Why We Think Slavery should be abolished by RE, PG,
SG and NS
We would like to explain why we think the slave trade should be
abolished! 12 million people have been enslaved due to slavery
carrying on. They are forced to work without being paid or looked
after properly. They are put into inhumane conditions. Slavery was
based on racism and violence and how they only had black slaves.
Slavery is wrong! It has to stop!
Many people gain a lot of money due to slavery. They get it from
selling and trading goods but also from slaves. They sell goods like
sugar, sugar canes, guns and gunpowder. This is what is making
many people rich.
The slaves were treated like they were nothing, a piece of dust.
Especially on the slave ships. They were abused, punished and
threatened to death. They used a thumbscrew method to punish the
slaves. They also branded the slaves. This means they get scarred
for life with the owners initials. The slaves would sometimes even
commit suicide, not wanting to live.
In the Bible, God says everyone should be treated the same and
not treated differently. It also says that everyone should be loving
and kind to others. Although slavery is the total opposite. But these
unloving humans thought differently.
In conclusion, we think slavery was out of control. It shouldn't of
happened and went to the highest level. Us humans deserve to live
a happy life and should be able to achieve goals.
What conditions do the slaves live in?
They live in wonderful conditions. They get food and water, and a lovely house
just for them.
Do you treat the slaves fairly?
Yes of course we do. We clothe them, feed and water them, and give a nice
house to live and pay them.
Do you pay the slaves for the hard work that they do?
We try to be as fair as possible and give them as much money as they want.
Are there any benefits of slavery for the economy?
Yes. It increases the income of money and brings more people over here to
grow crops and it helps the other countries as well.

Are the slaves happy?
Yes they have to be otherwise we get poor work and the income slows.
Are the slaves treated well.
Do you think that they are not treated well? Have you been listening to the
speech? We feed, ,water,, clothe and house them and generally treat them
well.
Can the slave trade help other countries?
Of course to can. You give goods to Africa, we get goods from you, and you
get goods from us.
Are you the biggest slave owner?
Of course not. The biggest slave owner is Stephan Duncan or John Burneside.
