Since our inception in 2006, at CMS we have become one of the UK’s
foremost façade and building envelope contractors. Our wealth of
experience spans multiple sectors and includes some of the UK’s most
complex and architecturally challenging new build and retrofit projects.
We work in close partnership with, amongst others, architects,
professional specifiers, main contractors, local authorities, housing
associations and utility companies. We provide a full range of services to
our diverse client base ranging from pre-tender support, design, value
engineering and BIM modelling to construction design management,
manufacture and installation.

Pre-tender Support
Through our in-house Structural Engineer and design team, we take
a methodical and continuous approach to the identification and
evaluation of project objectives.

Construction Design Management
Our Construction Design Management team handles all the
professional design, technical manufacturing and installations
services that cover the requirements of a detailed and complex
project, while adhering to stringent regulations and guidelines.
From preconception planning, specification and design development
through product design, structure and state of the art precision
manufacturing and installation, CMS works closely with project design
teams to offer complete structural reports and detailed drawings for
SER certification. A closely controlled practice helps us to deliver a
high quality service on every project regardless of size.

Broomhead Flats, Dunfermline.
Total building envelope refurbishment for three blocks of
high rise flats - A-rated PVCu windows, doors, curtain walling,
balcony enclosures plus external wall insulation (EWI).

CMS Window Systems was contracted to manufacture and
install A-rated PVCu windows for 216 homes in three tower
blocks, complemented by new doors, balcony enclosures
and aluminium curtain walling for communal areas. The
transformation was completed with over 3,500 m2 of external
wall insulation and exterior cladding per block

Aluminium windows for new office facility within new
hospital complex.

CMS manufactured and installed aluminium windows for the
building envelope of a new office facility. Using thermally
broken aluminium systems and solar control glazing, CMS
delivered the optimum performance and occupier comfort
balanced with superior aesthetics.

Manufacture and installation of curtain walling, windows and
doors at Emerson Process Management’s new premises.

Providing the HQ for engineering giant Emerson Process
Management, D2 is a contemporary office complex close to
Aberdeen which features aluminium curtain walling which was
manufactured and installed by CMS. The building adheres to
exacting thermal performance standards, which demanded an
aluminium profile system featuring a continuous thermal break
to reduce heat exchange.

Aluminium curtain walling for new build medical centre.

A new integrated facility at the heart of the community, the
new Wishaw Health Centre is a three and five story complex
providing NHS healthcare facilities alongside North Lanarkshire
council’s new Housing Office and Library, a shop and café.
CMS manufactured and installed all the aluminium curtain
walling and side hung windows for this contemporary building.

& Learning Facility, Glasgow.

and learning facility within new hospital complex.

Aluminium windows and curtain walling in student
accommodation development.

CMS designed, manufactured and installed high performance,
contemporary style aluminium windows for the building’s
external envelope. Using a thermally broken system, over 500
windows were installed on the project, as well as bespoke
panels, as part of the external envelope refurbishment solution.

student accommodation building.

CMS was appointed to manufacture and install
aluminium windows and curtain walling for a part
renovation, part new build complex to provide
apartments for around 300 students. The former
Deaconess Hospital building has been transformed
and three new build blocks constructed alongside
all feature high performance fenestration.

CMS was appointed to manufacture and install the curtain
walled facade for the new school’s exterior. With thermal breaks
to reduce heat loss, the aluminium solution delivered improved
overall thermal performance of the glazing system to comply
with the latest requirements of current building standards.

package as part of a two year new build project to construct a
Shared Campus Secondary School. This replaced two schools
and integrated two others to create a modern educational and
community facility.

University of Salford Student Village, Salford
Aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling for new high
quality student accommodation complex.

CMS manufactured and installed more than 1000 aluminium
windows and doors, along with curtain walling and louvres,
for the new £81 million student accommodation development
Salford Student Village. The project was delivered in just 12
weeks, with EPDM gaskets applied in the factory to save time
and ensure consistency.

accommodation buildings on-site at the University of Stirling,

aluminium windows, doors, high capacity automated
revolving doors and curtain walling for a two-year
100,000 sq ft new build project which extended one
of Scotland’s largest shopping centres.

CMS was appointed to manufacture and install
aluminium windows and curtain walling structural
glazing for a project which transformed a grade
B listed former school building and added a new
build extension to deliver new council offices and
community facilities for Argyll & Bute Council.

CMS manufactured and installed over 4000m2 of aluminium
curtain walling for this £85m crime-fighting agencies
complex. This consisted of 192 full height ladder bays,
four large areas of glazing to the central atrium, specially
designed louvres, high specification laminated spandrel
panels and a large 3m diameter automatic revolving door –
all with a bronze anodized finish, for zero maintenance and
guaranteed visual appearance for the lifespan of the building.
