Picnic/Water Birthday Party – 7 children
This party could be for elementary students. Activities for the
party include having water fights with water balloons and
water pistols, baseball and/or catch with sports balls found at
home, tag, and playing outside on playground equipment.
Activities: Children can play water games with water guns, water balloons, sprinkler, etc. They
can also play outside on park equipment, play tag, catch, and/or baseball, and can have relays.
Trophies can be awarded to winners of competitive games.
Food: Food at the party can include home-made pizza, sugar-free drink mix, cake made from mix,

This party would be for younger children, about preschool-aged and
could accommodate about four children. Activities for the party
would include limbo, baking and decorating cookies, making candy
jewelry, and playing in homemade huts.
Activities: Activities for the children can include playing limbo while tropical music plays in
background, making candy jewelry ($1.50 for a kit), playing in the huts, and baking and
decorating cookies.
• Homemade huts: The huts could be made out of empty washer and dryer boxes that you
could pick up for free at a home improvement store or appliance center. You can then cut
windows and a door in the boxes to make a hut. Also, start asking for paper bags at the
grocery store and save them for the party. You can cut the paper bags into strips and use
them for a ‘grass roof’ on the huts.
Food: Along with the cookies being served, orange juice can be offered as a beverage, and orange
juice popsicles can be made the night before to be served as a cold snack.
