Areas of Practice:
In her current role, Ms. Magno oversees global legal support for GE Oil & Gas Commercial Operations and
Global Sourcing across all product lines. Among other things, she provides strategic support to the
company’s leadership on commercial and procurement issues and coordinates the company’s standard
setting and processes (e.g., contractual risk, commercial templates and processes, key account
management etc.). In addition, she oversees general legal support for GE Oil & Gas within Europe, Middle
East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, India, and Russia/CIS.
Previously, Ms. Magno was lead counsel for GE Oil & Gas Global Supply Chain, with responsibilities for the
company’s global legal operations in the areas of procurement, facilities and logistics.
Before joining GE, Ms. Magno worked as a litigation attorney in New York and Rome, specializing in
Securities and Corporate Governance as well as general international litigation and arbitration, and
providing advice in connection with derivative and class actions, multi-billion dollar bankruptcy litigations, as
well as merger-related disputes.
Ms. Magno has a strong background in international commercial law, international litigation and arbitration,
securities and corporate governance.

Legal professional with extensive experience of 20 + years both as in – house and outside counsel. Emmy
has an experience of 15 years as in-house counsel in a variety of industries. She is currently Associate
General Counsel in Ingersoll – Rand member of the EMEA legal team and based in Brussels - Belgium.
She is responsible for corporate governance of 122 subsidiaries of the group in the region involving work
from day-to-day transactions to complex internal restructuring projects and support on M&A
projects for the region. She supports the commercial work of the Club Car, Power Tools, Material
Handling and Fluids SBUs. She provides legal support to the Procurement department. She also provides
legal support in relation to Data privacy matters.
She has previously worked as in – house counsel for Eastman Kodak Inc. where she held various
positions providing legal support to Graphics and Entertainment businesses, procurement department,
data privacy and complex internal corporate restructuring projects following acquisitions made by EK in
the graphics business.
Previously Emmy held the position of European Legal Affairs Manager for Creo Inc. (acquired by
Eastman Kodak) and worked as in-house counsel on interim assignment for UPS Europe SA/NV.
Emmy worked as a lawyer for law firms in Brussels (Elegis- Buyle, Dieryck, Maingain) and in Athens
