Freeport Man Faces Six Dozen Drug Charges
by Jonathan Weaver
A Freeport man will be
charged with 80 drug violations in June.
Dylan McCoy, 19, was arrested by Freeport Borough
Police December 11, 2011
after officers found marijuana and Vicodin during a
traffic stop. McCoy permitted the search through the
vehicle, which is reportedly
registered to his parents.
According to the criminal
complaint, the search came
after Patrolman Johnathan
Freel
visibly-recognized
marijuana in McCoy’s car
door and asked if more
was inside the vehicle.
Freel and another Freeport
Borough
officer
searched the vehicle and
found six bags of marijuana, three empty plastic
bags, 21 Vicodin pills, a
multi-colored glass pipe
and a metal grinder inside
McCoy’s backpack.
McCoy does not have a
prescription for the drugs.
Buffalo Township police
also assisted with the traffic stop.
Lab results have not yet
come back to District Magisterial Judge Gary DeComo’s office, so a prelimi-
nary hearing supposed to
be held last week has been
continued until 10:30AM
June 12.
McCoy was incarcerated
for one day in December
2011 before posting a portion of his $15,000 bail.
In all, McCoy was
charged with 27 counts of
With Election Day around the corner on April 24, I would encourage you to check out Tom Smith for Senate. He is a local
business owner who has taken it on himself to secure the future
prosperity of America. He once told me he thought voting every election was enough, but it wasn’t, so he started contributing to campaigns. He helped us get conservative politicians.
He then said but that wasn’t enough, so he was one of the four
founders of the “Indiana Armstrong Patriots.” He helped spread
small government conservative principles and hold pressure on
politicians to make right choices. Now he feels it is no longer
enough, so he has taken it on himself to run for Senate. Tom
Smith is a true Statesman who has given back more than his
fair share. Smith is one of the most upstanding men I know. He
is a proven leader in the business community and he will be a
leader for Pennsylvania. Let’s do our part to really send “Mr.
Smith to Washington!”

misdemeanor drug possession, 27 counts of felony
delivery, 13 counts of drug
paraphernalia and 13 counts
of drug delivery intent. He
was also charged with two
summary driving offenses
after he did not stop at a
posting sign nor use his turn
signal.
Please get out and vote on April 24th for
TOM SMITH for SENATOR of PENNSYLVANIA!!!
