Save the date:
FCA presents “An Unplugged Christmas” on Tuesday,
December 16, at 6:30 p.m. Students will wear festive attire - red or green tops with
black pants; girls may wear dresses that are primarily red or green. Those students
who have speaking roles will wear different clothes according to their part in the musical.
Veteran’s Day
Help us get the word out to anyone who
has served, or is serving, in the U.S.
Armed Forces. We will honor their
service in a program on Thursday,
November 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the
Worship Center. Veterans are welcome
to stay for lunch, provided they RSVP by
Monday, November 10. Students must
wear navy pants with red or white
Freedom shirts.
Dinner Theatre
Are you on the lookout for low-cost
family fun events? Don’t miss
“Tennessee Smith and the Quest for the
Golden Relic” presented by our talented
drama club students! For only $10 per
person, you’ll enjoy all-you-can-eat
chili, with dessert, and the show. Use
the order form below to reserve your
tickets.
Spirit Week
Go Flames! Our Freedom Flames won
their first basketball game of the season
Thursday night. Our first home games
are next Tuesday, November 11.
Students are invited to show their school
spirit every day next week. The details
were sent in last week’s Freedom
folders. Here are the daily themes:
Monday – Holiday Extravaganza
Tuesday – Freedom Flair Day
Wednesday – Head-to-Toe Wacky Wear
Thursday – Veteran’s Day
Friday – Color Wars
Football Fridays
Due to spirit week activities, we won’t
have Football Friday on November 14.
These are the remaining days for
students to donate $3 and wear team
shirts with jeans: November 21,
November 25, and December 5. Enjoy!
Dinner Theatre
Friday, November 21, in the CHBC Cruze Center
Doors open at 5:45 p.m.; doors close at 6:30 p.m.
Freedom Flair
On “Freedom Flair Day,” students may
wear any of our newest t-shirts (not
uniform shirts/sweatshirts or old
athletic t-shirts). We have a variety of
sizes and colors. Youth sizes are $10 for
short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve tshirts. Adult sizes are $15 for short
sleeve and $20 for long sleeve t-shirts.
Pecans
The response to this fundraiser has been
overwhelming! We’re ordering more
pecans, so if anyone has asked you if
they can get more, the answer is “yes”!
We must know how many more you need
by 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10.
