Volunteers will then view a slide show of faces including pictures of their mothers while their emotional responses to each of the images will be measured using electrodermal activity on the palms of their hands. The audience will use the data to determine which of the mother’s faces correspond with each of the volunteers. Dr. Brian Keller—Countryside Veterinarian (Rm C124) Dr. Brian Keller of Countryside Veterinarian Clinic will be discussing the day-to-day activities of a practicing veterinarian and the courses needed to become a veterinarian. Steve Weinzierl—EPS (Rm C223) Engineered Propulsion Systems (EPS) was formed in 2006 right here in New Richmond to develop, manufacture, and market a revolutionary new general aviation diesel engine, which addresses the needs of the single and light-twin piston engine market. The EPS engine sets new standards for fuel economy and performance. Travis Tubre—UW-River Falls Neuroscience (Rm C225) UW-River Falls has developed and is now offering a new program in neuroscience. Travis will be discussing what the program will have to offer as well as recommendations for courses students should take in high school in preparation for the neuroscience program.
