Experience Tour
Whiz through the frozen wilderness and admire the snowy

Björkliden’s crown where you make a short stop.

Musher’s Joy - Drive your own dog sled!
Be a musher of your own dog sled for a while! In Alaska,
where dog sledding originated, the drivers of the sleds are
called “mushers”. To drive a dog sled is know as “mushing”.
Mushing is a great experience and is an exciting, fast and
fun way to enjoy the natural surroundings.
DOG SLEDDING TOURS
You can hardly get closer to nature. Imagine gliding over
the snow with the only sound being the song of the sled’s
runners and the panting of the dogs. Our tours take you
out into the majestic countryside where you can enjoy the

This tour takes you back in time and informs you of the
origins of dog sledding. Comfortably leaning back in a big

hunters chose dog sledding as their preferred mode of transport in the winter wilderness.
NORTHERN LIGHTS tours
The multi-coloured lights in the sky, seen north of the Arctic Circle, are known as the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis. It is a beautiful phenomenon which can be seen in

Visit Aurora Sky Station in Abisko National Park - one of
the best places in the world when it comes to watching the

Join Lights Over Lapland photographer Chad Blakley for an

LÅKTATJÅKKO mountain lodge
Låktatjåkko Mountain Lodge is Sweden’s highest located
mountain lodge at 1228 masl. Låktatjåkko is spectacularly
situated between two mighty peaks, 10 km from Björkliden.
From here you have extraordinary views over the breathtaking mountain scenery of Swedish Lapland. The mountain
lodge has 10 rooms with 18 beds, restaurant, bar and sauna.

With our comfortable cat-ski or by snowmobile we travel up

ICEHOTEL
The famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi is one of Sweden’s
most well know attractions. Even one of the world’s! ICEHOTEL is built from scratch every year from the ice of the
Torne River. Every spring ICEHOTEL then melts away and

Kåppas caves comprise one of Sweden’s longest cave systems. To crawl into a cave and get deep into the mountain in

taxi all the way to the cave. If not, we walk part of the way
up there. After a thrilling journey we put on our headlamps

Låktatjåkko off-piste with Kopparåsen
We go by cat-ski up to Låktatjåkko Mountain Lodge were
we have lunch before we hike up the summit of Låktatjåkko
and then ski down Kopparåsen - a well-known off-piste run

If you know your way around on alpine skis and want a challenge, try telemark! Together with an instructor and other

Ski School for children
The better children get at skiing, the more fun they have.
Ski school combines games, laughter and technique. Children are divided into groups according to age and ability:
lift. Most of the skiarea is explored and we use the T-bar
lift and work on our technique and start learning how to ski
with parallel skis.
Children - Age 4-6
4 day course with 1 hour per day, two different levels:
Svängare*** - You are on your way to ski with parallell
skis. You can stop, turn and know how to use the buttonand T-bar lift. We ski all of the pistes.
Snögubbe* - Beginner, have never skied before. You learn
how to control your skis, to break, stop and turn. We also
learn how to use the button lift.
Fräsare**** - You ski with parallell skis with good speed
and control. We ski all over the mountain and work on our
technique. The highest level in the children´s ski school.
Snöstjärna** - You can stop and turn and can use the button lift. Snöstjärnorna develop their skills in more demanding terrain.
