SKILL 1 – Definition Clues
Definition Clues requires the teacher to give an example or clue to the list word.
It can be easily used with the words “up” and “fun” above (i.e. planes go in this
direction – you would likely have this at a party), however, for the other words
simply “call-out” the words to allow students to search the list for the correct
word. If students are doing this as an independent activity, have them write the
