Scenario
Block all incoming emails from the domain www.example.com.
Configuration
You can block all incoming email from a specific domain by following the steps given below.
Configuration is to be done from Cyberoam Web Admin Console using profile having read-write
administrative rights for relevant feature(s).
Step 1: Create Spam Rule
Go to Anti Spam > Spam Rules > Spam Rules and click Add to create a new Spam Rule with
following parameters.

Block_Spam
Specify the name for Anti Spam Rule.
Recipient Email
Any Email Address
Select Recipient Email Address.
Sender Email
www.example.com
Select Sender Email Address.
IF Condition
None
Select ‘None’ when you want to create a
rule between specific sender and
recipient without any conditions. You can
set actions for SMTP and POP3/IMAP
mails only on the basis of sender and
recipient.
SMTP Action
Drop
Select Action to be taken for the SMTP
traffic.

Click OK to create the Spam Rule.
Step 2: Enable Anti Spam Scanning in Firewall Rule
Go to Firewall > Rule > Rule and select the Firewall Rule in which you want to enable SMTP
scanning. Under Advanced Settings > Security Policies, enable SMTP in AV & AS Scanning.
The above configuration blocks all email traffic from www.example.com.
