Key Club is a severice club, providing community service opportunities to High school students. If you are interested in serving the
school and your community, see Mrs. Hapner, Mrs. Morgan, or just come to our first meeting on Friday at 7:15 am in room 103.

~Any Junior and Sophomores with a GPA of 4.2 or higher, the PSAT/NMSQT will be given on October 14th. Students need to sign-up in the Guidance Office by September 10th. Cost is $18 which is due by Oct. 8th.

There will be an ice cream social this Friday after school for all FCCLA members. We will discuss plans for the school

Attention all Student Council members: Stuco shirts are now on sale until Sept. 4th for $20 with Mrs. Troesser or Mrs.

Homecoming is Friday, October 2nd! The Theme is Hornet Hawaiian Homecoming. Watch for lots of upcoming events
related to Homecoming. The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 3rd from 8-11. Admission is $3.00. Attire is Casual.
This is a Sadie Hawkins Dance so Girls ask the Guys! If you want to bring an outside date to the Homecoming Dance,
please sign them up in the front office by Wednesday, September 30th.
Intervention
Drama
Did you know...students who took courses in drama study or appreciation scored, on average, 55 points higher on verbal and 26 points
higher on standardized math test than their non-arts classmates. Join Drama Club! Meeting is this Friday from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the theatre! if you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Cortez or any drama club officer!
FBLA
FBLA will be selling Dippin Dots Friday during lunch. The price is $4. Half the funds raised will go to Lizzy's Lifesavers to
help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
TACKLE FOR A CURE
2nd annual "Tackle for a Cure" football game will be held on Sept. 18. The cheerleaders are selling pink out t-shirts now
through Tuesday Sept. 8 for $10.00. Please buy your shirts and wear them to the game to show your support for the American Cancer Society.
