If your child would like to enter they need to produce an outfit using recycled materials and bring it in to wear during the afternoon. Perhaps they could make an outfit out of newspaper or use a cardboard box to create a hat. The possibilities are endless! There will be prizes for the most creative and eye catching outfit within each year group and our panel of judges will also be choosing an overall winner. Year 5 are also designing outfits for Mr Burgess, Mr Smith and Mr Glynn and they will be ‘modelling’ them during the show. This should be a fun and creative afternoon and we hope that lots of children support the event and create an outfit. On Friday 25th April 2014 we will also be holding a ‘wear something green’ non-uniform day where we will be asking for a 50p donation per child to raise money to buy more outdoor learning equipment and items for our Sensory garden. Your child can wear any sensible non-uniform but if perhaps one part of their outfit could be green. Thank you for supporting both events. Miss Akin and the Green Council Hawes Side Academy Tel.
