INIS Collection of Non-Conventional Literature (NCL)
On DVD and via the INIS Online Collection
INIS’s unique collection of non-conventional or “grey” literature
currently includes over 600 000 full-text documents on nuclear
science and technology that are not available in the public domain.
Increasing at an annual rate of approximately 25 000 documents,
the NCL collection consists of scientific and technical reports,
conference papers, patents, theses and preprints.
The NCL collection of full-text documents is available:
- from 2011 on DVD
- from 1997-2010 consisting of 519 CD-ROMs
- via the INIS Online Collection in pdf format (over
250 000 documents are currently available)
Individual documents can be ordered from Document
Delivery Services at the IAEA and in INIS Member States.
The INIS Online Collection now allows a full-text search
across electronic NCL documents included in the collection.
Digitization of microfiche is an on-going project.
