Our Story...
It was the Spring of 1972 and a newly married immigrant
couple were about to embark on the greatest challenge
of their young lives. An opportunity arose for Italian born
Franco & Antonietta to take over a struggling pizzeria on
Main Street in Fort Lee, NJ.
The Pizza Menu
The goal was to gain the trust and loyalty of the local
community. That little 12 seat pizzeria was an instant
success. Fast forward 43 years later to Franco’s Metro
Restaurant & Bar and not too much has changed really. We
are still serving the same community we know and love, our
pizza pies are still freshly hand tossed, while our made to
order entrees, salads & appetizers still use only the freshest
ingredients around. Just like 4 decades earlier, it’s all about
family, community & tradition.

Surely they would have to give it their all; long hours,
limited family time and a grueling seven day work schedule
were necessary to really make it happen. The formula was
simple; really fresh hand tossed pizza pies and made to
order Italian foods created by real Italians.
