Mandate: April 2014 UNGA resolution A/RES/68/269 "Improving global road safety"
Theme: Children and road safety
Dates: 4-10 May 2015
Objectives:
• Highlight the plight of children on the world’s roads
• Generate action to better ensure their safety
• Promote the inclusion of safe and sustainable transport in
the post-2015 Development Agenda
