NMSBA CAN HELP YOUR BUSINESS
The New Mexico Small Business Assistance (NMSBA) Program assists
for-profit small businesses in New Mexico to access cutting-edge
technologies, solve technical challenges, and gain knowledge from
laboratory experts at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia
National Laboratories. The assistance is provided at no cost to your
small business.

Eligibility
•A
re you a for-profit small business located in New Mexico?
• D o you pay or file gross receipts taxes to the State of New Mexico?
If you answered yes to these questions, you can qualify for
technical assistance in the form of research hours valued up to:
• $ 10,000 annually if your small business is located in Bernalillo
County
• $ 20,000 annually if your small business is located outside of
Bernalillo County
Restrictions
• The assistance provided must not be available through private
industry at a reasonable cost.

MSBA cannot provide cash or equipment to the small business.
•N
MSBA cannot provide assistance to government or nonprofit
entities.
• NMSBA cannot endorse companies, products, or services.
