Foam proportioner
Fixed or mobile systems; allowing for the storage and injection of all
types of foam concentrates for fire fighting
 The FLOWmix is a proportioning and storage unit allowing for the injection of
all types of foaming agents used in firefighting :
o Class A additives or foam concentrates: 0.1% to 1%,
o Class B concentrates: 1% to 3%.
 Completely based on a mechanical principle, the FLOWmix does not require
outside electrical power source, and automatically operates from discharge
side of the pump.
 3 versions available:
o COMPACT version to equip fixed installations (Hose reels, Sprinkler,
fixed monitors, etc.) or use in portable mode.
o KIT version to install on fire response vehicles (fire trucks, etc)
o DOUBLE version to double the reserve of foam concentrate to transport
or diversify the reserve of foam concentrate to transport in order to
proportion two different types of concentrate.
 Pressure losses reduced: Ideal for establishing large pipe lengths
Compact version
 In use with additives of class A fire (eg: foam concentrate BIO FOR manufactured at
BIOex) where the concentration usage is very low (0.1 to 0.6%), the FLOWmix is an
essential tool to quickly and effectively control all Class A fires.

Precise adjustable proportioning: 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, 0.5%, 0.7%, 1% et 3%
Working pressure: 1.5 to 30 bar (following hoses used)
Flowrate: from 20 to 2000l/min – 5 to 528 Gal/min (For a concentration of 0.1 to 1%) and up 500 l/min - 132 Gal/min (to 3%)
Reserve capacity from 19 to 90 liters – 5 to 24 Gal.
Equipped with a selection valve to stop the injection of foam concentrate when it’s not necessary.

