In Cooperation: Millennium Express 2013 Background Vulnerability of communities to multi-pronged problems is a pressing condition the world faces today, especially the developing nations. The capacity of a community to recover from different vulnerabilities lies on its ability to tap the existing re s o u rc e s p re s e nt o n t h e c o m m u n i t y, complemented by appropriate management strategies for the sustainable utilization of the existing resource base. Taking the different contexts and situations of various communities in addressing resource scarcity and conflict, through a workshop-seminar, significant factors may arise that will help in building a resilient community.
