Maastricht will become the centre
of the art world during the weekend
of Friday the 10th up to and
including Sunday the 19th of March
as the MECC hosts the 30th edition
of The European Fine Art Fair. It is
the leading art and antiques fair
in the world and offers high quality
objects in all areas.
This level of quality requires a matching highquality, culinary framework. Maison van den Boer
will, yet again, enjoy providing catering services
for this unique event. This guide contains a
description of the culinary options available for
your reception. It also contains information about
packages, drinks, culinary options and details
about the various restaurants. We look forward to

Each Stand, Suit or Lounge is
manned by at least one set host/
hostess provided by Maison van
den Boer for your exclusive use. He
or she will take care of everything
from serving drinks and snacks to
clearing tables.
The host/hostess will be present during your
reception, at least one hour before it starts and
for at least one hour after your guests leave. An
earlier start or later finish may be decided upon
in consultation. You also can request additional
servers if desired.
We recommend one food server per 25 guests for
receptions and one food server per 12.5 guests
for lunches and dinners if you wish to achieve an
optimal service level. Events with more than 100
guests require the services of a party manager.
We charge € 38.75 per hour, per party manager,
excluding VAT. Minum charge four hours for this
service. Additional charges for labour, chefs, will
be included on your bill for lunches and dinners.

VICE
Maison van den Boer will also supply all the
necessary catering materials (china, glasses,
cutlery, etc.) in the Stands, Suites and Lounges.
You will be charged € 6.25 per person excluding
VAT for this service and the coordination it
requires.
The packages described on pages 8 up to and
including page 13 include all labour and service
costs.

Brasserie Fifth Avenue is the
perfect location and offers an
atmospheric setting.
You can find the Brasserie between stands 371
and 373 in the Paintings section of TEFAF. The
Brasserie offers 300 seats and is opened daily
between 12.00 and 18.00 hours. Our chefs have
been inspired by traditional local and seasonal
products while creating the Brasserie’s menu. The
dishes highlight the fine dining culture which is an
inherent part of Maastricht. An informal and cosy
lunch or dining experience takes centre stage!
The Brasserie can be exclusively rented for your
reception, gathering or dinner outside of TEFAF’s

Concorde. Reservations will be
accepted as from 11.30 a.m.
for a maximum of 12 people.
Reservations for Brasserie Fifth
Avenue will be accepted after
14.30 hours. No reservations will
be accepted before this time and
tables will be made available on a
first-come, first-served basis.
You can submit a reservation via the reservation
form on: www.maisonvandenboer.com/tefaf.
You can also send an e-mail to:

You will then receive confirmation of your
reservation. We will let you know as soon as
possible if the restaurant is fully booked at
the time you have requested. We will discuss
alternative options with you at this time. Your table
will be held for 15 minutes after the time you have
reserved. We retain the right to offer the table
to another party if you have not arrived at your
reserved time.
Cancellations and changes
Changes to your reservation or a cancellation
should be submitted to us in writing. You will
receive confirmation of the changes and/or
cancellation. Please let us know the definitive
number of guests at least 5 working days in
advance. This is considered the guaranteed
amount and is leading for Maison van den Boer,
unless you show up with more guests than the
amount confirmed.
Payment
You can pay in cash, with your debit card and with
all common credit cards in both the Restaurant
and the Brasserie. You will need a Maison van den
Boer catering card, La Carte, if you wish to charge
your bill to an account.

carte
GENERAL DISCRIPTION
You will need a Maison van den Boer catering
card, also known as La Carte, if you wish to charge
a bill to your account. You can order this loyalty
card before the start of the event free of charge.
You can pay for bills using La Carte at all our
catering outlets.
La Carte is a personal card and is not
transferable. Your company name will be featured
on the card as well as the card holder’s name and
a client number. One company may order more
than one Maison van den Boer loyalty card.
Bills will only be added to an account if the loyalty
card is shown so that we can offer safe and easy
payment options. You cannot charge your account
using a business card.
• La Carte can be requested before the launch
of the event by completing an order form. Your
La Carte(s) will be ready and waiting for you in
the exhibitors lounge where you can collect it/
them. The exhibitors lounge can be found on
the first floor of the Millennium foyer. Please
present a valid ID when collecting the La
Cartes you have ordered. You will be asked to
sign upon receipt.
• You will be asked to present your La Carte
card to an employee each time you use and
you will also be asked to sign your bill.
• You will receive a receipt each time you use
your card so that you can keep track of what
you spend during the course of the event.
• The amounts you have spent in each catering
location will be added together once the event
has come to an end. This amount will then
be deducted from your bank account. You will
receive an invoice for this amount 30 days
before it is deducted from your account. This
invoice contains a specification for inspection
purposes.
• Signing the order forms authorises Maison
van den Boer to deduct the amount you have
spent during the TEFAF 2017 from your bank
account or to charge your credit card for the
amount in question.
• Ordering a La Carte card is free up to and
including Friday 3 March 2017. You will be
charged € 15.00 as an administration fee if
you submit a request at a later date.
