Wine Tasting Group
It hardly seems possible that my tenure as President is
coming to an end. It has been both my pleasure and
honor to serve you alongside your hard-working and
committed Board of Directors. As I pass the gavel to
your very capable new President, Jo Hogan and the
2012-2013 Board, I want to thank all of you for your
support this past year.
Our final luncheon this season will be held at the
Fairhope Yacht Club. Our guest speaker will be Hayley
Hill, Founder of Access Magazine and Fashion Stylist
to the Stars. As you mark your calendars for this event,
be sure and reserve Monday, June 4, for our Summer
Dinner Party. It will be held at Ivey’s in Robertsdale.
Ivey’s will be closed to the public that night, so we will
have the entire place to ourselves.
A special project is planned for the October 16 fashion
show. Please think about an outfit (or more) you can
donate to The Lighthouse (woman’s shelter) that is
suitable for wearing for a job interview. Items will be
collected the day of the show. We understand they can
always use robes as well.
Please don’t forget to send in your membership renewal
form and $25 fee by June 1 so you won’t incur a
penalty.
If you will be staying in town for the summer, be sure
and attend our summer coffees. It’s a great way to stay
in touch. My husband and I, along with our son and
granddaughter, will be riding our motorcycles to Alaska
this summer, so I’ll see you in the Fall.
