WELCOME
From Seattle Theatre Group, a non-profit arts organization
Welcome to THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, one of Broadway’s biggest
and most popular musicals in history. Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular
new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s greatest musical is “bigger and
better than ever before” and features a brilliant new scenic design, with
Tony Award®-winning original costume design, lighting design, new
choreography, and new staging. The many exciting special effects including
the show’s legendary chandelier, a beloved story and thrilling score –
with songs like “Music of the Night,” “All I Ask Of You,” and “Masquerade” –
all performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, make this PHANTOM one of the
largest productions now on tour. Fans of the beloved story will be in awe and
those new to this spectacular production will immediately become devoted.
We recently announced our new and exciting Broadway 2015-2016 season,

Indie Artists Bring Their Pop Success
to The Paramount!
STG PRESENTS
SUFJAN STEVENS AT THE
PARAMOUNT THEATRE ON
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10 AND
THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2015.
Sufjan Stevens’ most recent release,
Carrie & Lowell, has already earned the
accomplished songwriter new critical
acclaim, having been heralded as
“The Musical Comeback of the Year”
by Billboard. NPR says “even at its
most mournful there’s a vibrancy to
these songs that’s only enhanced by
their intimacy.” STG welcomes Sufjan
for two nights of music from his new
album and beloved catalogue.
STG WELCOMES
INGRID MICHAELSON
TO THE PARAMOUNT
THEATRE ON JUNE 17, 2015.
In the past two years, Ingrid Michaelson —
who’ll drop her fifth studio album, Lights
Out (Cabin 24/Mom+Pop) on April 15 —
has vaulted from overachieving indie-pop
sweetheart to a bona-fide pop star. Her last
release, Human Again, debuted at No. 5
on the Billboard album chart (plus No.1
on iTunes).
This achievement merely crowned the
considerable success Ingrid had already
earned with her previous compositions:
beautiful, idiosyncratic songs that have
been prominently featured in popular
films, television and on regular rotation
in commercials. Her DIY approach to
making music — composing her own songs,
co-releasing albums on her Cabin 24 imprint,
building an organic following through
music-licensing, and back in her MySpace
days (where she was discovered in 2006),
promoting herself — was a slam-dunk.
Now, it had evolved into a well-oiled
machine, The New York Times even
weighed in, declaring her songwriting
“smart,” her tunes “irresistible” and her
live show “seamless.”

the best live touring comedy
the nation has to offer.

bring his smart brand of comedy out on the
road to The Neptune Theatre.
STG is excited to host rising star Cristela
Alonzo at The Neptune. Cristela made TV
history in 2014, by being the first Latina to
create, produce and star in a network TV
sitcom, “Cristela,” an achievement which caps
a whirlwind year. She released “Some of the
Hits,” her first stand-up CD through Comedy
Central and will be making her feature film
debut in the upcoming Angry Birds movie.
Take advantage of the chance to see Cristela

Nights at the Neptune
returns for a 3rd year!
LOCAL ARTS – LOCAL ARTISTS – GLOBAL ISSUES
Nights at the Neptune is a series of summer events, offered free
to the public and to the artists. Here’s how it works – local artists/
arts organizations respond to a call for artists. A panel of local artists,
entrepreneurs, activists and advocates who select the final list of
participants review applications. The Neptune Theatre is opened to the
artists, for free, to mount a performance, also free to the public. This
is performing arts by the people, for the people with an emphasis on
presentations that address issues of race and social justice. This is A
People’s Theatre Joint!
Nights at the Neptune is an invitation to embrace local artistic
expression as a movement toward renewed connection to our own
artists and the artistic process. We’re creating a new space for new voices.
2015 Nights at the Neptune takes place June 10 - July 16.
