All bats have a weight (in ounces), a length (in inches), and a rating (a negative number because it is weight minus length) stamped on the end of the handle. In the list below, a bat requirement of -3 means that bats rated -3, -2, +1 are fine; bats of -4, -7, -10 are not allowed. A bat requirement of -10 means bats -10, -8, -3 are fine; bats -11, -12, -14 are not allowed.
