Making Addends: One Whole
1. Completely fill the hexagon labeled “One Whole” with the blue rhombi. How many did you use?
2. Get the same number of blue rhombi and split them between the hexagons on the right.
3. Record your work in words and then write the number sentence that matches your work.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3, using the size piece indicated, until the table is full.
