At that meeting, the Mayor promised to provide skip bins and a key system, in lieu of our closed dump, for local residents to dispose of waste. This did not eventuate. Upon follow-up of this matter, a Councillor suggested the provision of a number of wheelie bins at Bowenville. After further prompting, a skip bin was promised at the same site for domestic and farm waste. With no further notice, about one week later six plastic wheelie bins were placed in the area near the highway together with instructions on a sign. If you are unhappy with this situation as the permanent replacement for our dump then please contact Nancy Sommerfield on 0499 774 278 or Paul Antonio on 0429 954 109. Please pass this message on to other concerned residents who may not receive this newsletter.
