Belgrave School News January 2012 Issue 5 Dates for the diary Wall Art Art Trip at The Tobacco Factory Dear Parents and Students, Happy New Year! I hope you had a great time over the holidays. The staff and I are eager to make this term a very productive and fun term. The first half term we will be focusing on the learning and teaching of reading and phonics. Later in the term maths will be a focus. In particular resources and planning. School Trips so far Geography Trip to the bridge ASDAN Lashings coffee shop trip ART GCSE Victoria Albert Museum, London Art Wall Art Tobacco Factory Playground and Fund Raising The visit by the planning Department did not take place and so we continue without the use of the second play area! It is all very frustrating and costly as we have to pay for the scaffolding to hold the wall up. If you have any links with Bristol Planning and can help speed this process we could do with the help! If you would like to enquire at the planning office the number is 0117 9223000 and the planning reference is 11/03840/H Recycle School Uniform! A list of items of uniform that have been donated by parents for sale will shortly be circulated to parents together with revised prices now applicable for the purchase of new uniform.
