Wall Art Art Trip at The Tobacco Factory
Dear Parents and Students,
Happy New Year!
I hope you had a great time over
the holidays. The staff and I are
eager to make this term a very
productive and fun term. The
first half term we will be focusing
on the learning and teaching of
reading and phonics. Later in the
term maths will be a focus. In
particular resources and
planning.

Playground and Fund Raising
The visit by the planning Department did
not take place and so we continue
without the use of the second play area!
It is all very frustrating and costly as we
have to pay for the scaffolding to hold the
wall up.
If you have any links with Bristol Planning
and can help speed this process we could
do with the help!
If you would like to enquire at the
planning office the number is 0117

Recycle School Uniform!
A list of items of uniform that have been
donated by parents for sale will shortly be
circulated to parents together with
revised prices now applicable for the
purchase of new uniform. Please drop off
any donations at the school office.

Some of our students have
expressed an interest in The
Duke of Edinburgh Award. We
held a meeting which several
students and parents attended.
I have contacted the D of E Coordinator. I have also applied for
a grant of £3,500 to run the
award. We hope to start the
programme in the summer term.
I will keep you posted.

attended the last meeting. To help
parents attend the Friends of Belgrave
meetings we will now be holding them
after school. Children will be able to
attend the after school club whilst we
meet. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be
provided. We hope this will help more
parents to attend.

The After School Club will
continue to run from
Monday to Thursdays
from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
