We have had a few entries for the book inspired model
competition, but it would be lovely to have some more - use
this weekend to work with your child to create a model
inspired by their favourite book.
Finally children can dress as their favourite hero or heroine
from a book on Friday 3rd March and we would like to invite
parents to share books and book related activities in your
child's class from 2.30pm on Friday.
There will be a hero inspired quiz and a treasure hunt that
can be done using books in the classrooms.

Whole school attendance this week has unfortunately dipped below satisfactory with a percentage of 94.5%. However,
attendance since September is still a pleasing 95.1%. We are thrilled that this week two classes have achieved a staggering
100% - well done Oak and Cedar.
Today Mrs. Garrick has enjoyed celebrating Outstanding attendance with all the classes - we had 290 pupils attend, which
means 70% of pupils only had one absence or less last half term. This is fantastic and highlights only a small minority of
pupils whose attendance is below where we would expect. If your child has attended all this week they are currently
eligible to attend the next party after Easter and it would be fantastic to see some new faces - one day or less off entitles
your child to an invitation.
