1st Day: …. - Tehran
Arrival in Tehran . Meeting with the guide of IRANIAN SEBT TOUR. Transfer to the hotel and
overnight.
2nd Day: Tehran - Shiraz
Breakfast . Day visit to Tehran, capital populous (12 million inhabitants) of modern Iran .
Situated at 1100 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Alborz Mountains.
The National Museum of Iran, which traces the history of art and Iranian culture, through
archaeological finds ranging from 6 thousand B. C. up to the Islamic period.
The Museum of Glass and Ceramics , housed in an elegant building of the Qajar period,
museum within a museum , which houses a valuable collection of glass and ceramics , from the
second millennium BC our era .
The Carpet Museum opened in 1977, in an area of 3,400 square meters. Exhibits more than
100 specimens of rare carpets from all over the country.
In the afternoon domestic flight to Shiraz. Check in at the hotel and dinner.
3rd Day: Shiraz
Day dedicated to the great archaeological sites of the Achaemenid and Sassanid Empire .
Persepolis , the city founded by Darius in 524 BC.
The great Apadana , the gate of Xerxes , the hall of 100 columns , the bas-reliefs, all testify to
the grandeur and splendor of this site.
Naghsh - e- Rostam , necropolis , a place which keeps the rock tombs of the great Achaemenid
kings , and the bas-reliefs of the Sassanid Empire .
The journey continues with a visit to the archaeological site of Pasargade , where Cyrus the
Great wanted his capital . Visit the Tomb of Cyrus, once surrounded by forests.
Return to Shiraz. Overnight at Hotel.
4th Day : Shiraz
Breakfast . The day is dedicated to visit the capital of Fars , very old city , which enjoyed
moments of prosperity and decadence. In 1760, Karim Khan Zand , chose it as the capital of his
short reign . Karim Khan Zand built the Citadel (Arg and Karim Khan ) , his private residence,
the delightful octagonal pavilion , now the Museum of Fars , where he received foreign
ambassadors Bazaar The beautiful , unique in Iran for architecture brick paintings, which a
century after it was added to the caravanserai Saray - e- Moshir . The Vakil Mosque whose
winter prayer hall is supported by 48 monolithic columns . But Shiraz is also the city of the great
poets , Sa'adi ( 1209-92 ) and Hafez ( 1310-90 ) and here are buried and honored , and whose
verses are still imbued with the language and Persian culture . The Atigh Mosque , the oldest of
Shiraz , the Madrasa of Khan whose decorations of flowers and slate blue with birds remind us
of the frescoes of the Safavid palaces . Visit the Mosque of Nassir -ol- Molk decorated with tiles.
Dinner . Overnight at hotel .
5th Day : Shiraz - Kerman
Breakfast . Drive to Kerman (555 Km. ) , visiting the site of Sarvestan, architectural example of
the pre-Islamic period.
Visit to the salt lakes in a panoramic setting . Lunch picnic . Next, we visit the town of Neyriz
with its ancient mosque dating back to the XI century . Arrive in Kerman.
Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
6th Day : Kerman
The day is dedicated to the excursion to Mahan, to visit the Citadel of Rayen.
We continue with a visit to the Bagh- e- Shah- Zadeh , garden of the prince which in the spring
is filled with colors . The Mausoleum of Shah Nematolah - e- Vali , revered Sufi master who
lived in the 1300s and founder of the order of dervishes .
Return to Kerman dinner and overnight.
7th Day : Kerman - Yazd
Breakfast and the beginning of visits: the Friday Mosque , the Bazaar - e- Vakil , Hammam- eGanj Ali Khan.
Departure to Yazd, ( 387 km ) . Late afternoon arrival in Yazd . Overnight at hotel .
8th Day : Yazd
Breakfast . Full day excursion to the city ', one of the most interesting ancient center of Iran and
Zoroastrian . We will see the Towers of Silence and the Atash - Kadeh , which preserves the
sacred fire . The Friday Mosque with the two tallest minarets in Iran. We will walk in the old
town , surrounded by walls, among the finest examples of traditional houses. We will visit the
Water Museum, where it will be apparent perfectly underground irrigation systems , qanat ,
which made it fertile and cultivated the arid lands of the plateau.
The Mausoleum of Seyed Rokn od- Din and the old Bazaar . Dinner and overnight.
9th Day : Yazd - Esfahan
Breakfast . Drive to Esfahan. ( 316 km ) . During the trip we will visit the town of Nayin , with its
characteristic bio- architecture . Here we look at the Friday Mosque, one of the oldest in Iran,
and the nearby the Desert House-Museum , with walls graffittate of rare beauty, and the
fascinating old Bazaar. Along the way we will also stop in the town of Meybod particularly
interesting for a group of buildings that exemplify the great building skills of the Persian
architects: a Caravanserai.
Arrival in Esfahan and overnight in Hotel.
10th Day : Esfahan
Full day tour of Esfahan , the city that Shah Abbas I (1587-1629) , the Safavid dynasty , chose
as its capital, and who planned and embellished to make the pearl of the Persian Renaissance .
We will visit three major bridges on the river Zayandeh -Rud , the Bridge Sio Se Pol (or of the
33 arches) and Khaju Bridge (Pol - e- Kaju ) and the bridge Shahrestan the Sassanid period .
A stop at the Royal Square, today the Imam square, to fill us with wonder and magic and
devote the afternoon to Shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
11th Day : Esfahan - Tehran
Breakfast . The visit of the city. The Abbasi Pavilion, Hasht Behesht (eight paradises), a small
marvel of the court. The Palace of 40 columns or Chehel Sotun is the pavilion where the king
granted hearings with paintings representing historical events of the time. The extraordinary
Friday Mosque (Masjed Jame) of the ninth century.
Evening flight to Tehran. Arrival and transfer to Hotel.
12th Day : Tehran - ….
Early in the morning transfer to Imam Khomeini Int’l Airport. Flight to home.
